Out of Contact...

It's been a while since my last post. I guess you can say that I've been a little preoccupied with the holidays, family and trying to get ready for my daughter's arrival. We had a terrible stomach bug hit our house... Yuck! It got my 3 year old first, followed by my hubby and 1 year old. Knock on wood, my 8 year old and I survived it's wrath! Thank goodness.

My mommy threw me a Baby Shower this past Saturday and it was wonderful. She had it at our church's Fellowship Hall and it was so nice to be surrounded by family and friends. My daughter received such adorable gifts, from beautiful blankets to outfits. I went from having zero girly items to a closet full of clothes for her. It was such a blessing! I'm very grateful.

After church on Sunday, my mommy went with me to buy her bedding, extra sheets, cubbies and fabric drawers for her closet. She was a great help to me!

I washed all of her bedding and some clothing, bought her crib mattress and made her bed yesterday. My mommy even stopped by and took the majority of her clothes home to help me wash all of them. Isn't she the best!

All I have left to do now is go buy baby hangers because the ones we had left over (a ton!) were sent to storage and send out my "thank you" cards to everyone that attended my shower. I'm running out of time! Mia will be here sooner rather than later. I started getting some Braxton Hicks the night-before-last and I have what my Nurse Practitioner says will be my last prenatal visit tomorrow. All of my children have come earlier than their due dates. My last baby came almost 3 weeks early! My children's great-grandmother in Virginia predicts that I'll have my daughter on December 13th, so we'll see!

Enjoy the rest of your week and stay tuned for the post on our newest arrival... ;)

Just Another November Day in Sunny California...NOT!

Larry & I
at
LA BUFADORA
HABANA BANANA
(I wish I was back there... The cruise we took to Ensenada, Mexico for our 7th Anniversary)

What season is it right now? Fall, you say. Well, you certainly wouldn't know it. It still feels like were in Summer. And how strange the weather is for creeping towards the end of November, huh?! Talk about being miserable everytime I have to set foot out of my climate-controlled house. I'm going on my 34th week of being pregnant this Friday, so this heat is getting old quick! I can't wait for the cool to set in for the holidays... Granted, I don't want it too cold because then I run the risk of my baby girl catching a cold. Afterall, she does have an 8 year old brother in school that could bring it home to her.
In other news, we had to have a plumber come out to fix the kitchen sink... It was clogged on both sides and our water wouldn't drain. But now, it's as good as new - Yea!
My house is very quiet at the moment, too! My two baby boys are currently napping and all I can hear is Spongebob in the background. NICE. I look forward to nap time... A little peace and quiet and time to think. I can check emails, blog, etc.
Anyway, I think that I may even join them for a little catnap of my own because my oldest son has early day today. I need to pick him up at 1:15pm, so a little nap will be good for me. Especially, before we start doing homework!
Hope you all have a wonderful morning, afternoon & night... Thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Birthday To My 2 Baby Boys!!!

Joshua saying, "CHEESE"!

Nicholas hugging his Baby Brother, Luke.

Luke smiling for Mommy...

Here are a few pictures taken at my boys birthday party. Luke just turned one and Joshua actually doesn't turn 4 until December 17th, but we decided to have their birthday parties at the same time because our daughter is due around that time. We did a Curious George theme and the kids had a blast. Although, we did have to keep the children indoors due to fires in the surrounding cities - we're talking only a matter of a few miles! There was a lot of ash floating around and the smell of smoke filled the air. Even still, it was a very good party and we all enjoyed everyone's company immensely.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week... ;)

So Many Things To Do, So Little Time...

At least, that's how I've felt as of late. I had my prenatal visit last night and to my surprise, I've only gained about 19 lbs in 33 weeks. Pretty good, huh?!

In other news, we still have so much organization left to do with my Craft Closet, the garage, & the babies' room. Not to mention, we had to get a larger storage unit - so now, my husband has to get a couple of buddies to help him transfer our stuff from the smaller into the larger. UGH! And to top that off, my husband has to take it easy with his right hand & arm because he's going through electrotherapy treatments once a week. I just feel so useless because normally I would be able to help him with the heavy lifting, etc... And I'm not in a position to do so at this time.

Tomorrow, we are celebrating our Baby Luke's 1st Birthday & his brother Joshua's 4th Birthday together (even though Joshua's Birthday isn't until Dec. 17th) because I have a feeling that this Baby Girl will follow suit to her older brothers and arrive a couple of weeks earlier than her due date - January 2. My sis and I are going to Party City tonight to get party favors and such for tomorrow and Sams Club for the cupcakes... Can't wait! It's supposed to be in the 90's tomorrow, too, did I forget to mention that? Is that insane weather for mid-November, or what?! Well, I certainly hope that you have a wonderful weekend & you're able to stay cool in your neck of the woods... ;)

An Early Tuesday Morning

My poor 3 1/2 year old woke up in the wee hours of the morning today very whiny and clingy and congested. I took his temperature and he was definitely in need of medication and some TLC (Tender Loving Care). Sorry folks, I know that's like a bad word around here in Blogger Land...;) Anyhow, after alternating the Tylenol & Motrin, along with the humidifier now in his bedroom, he seems to be back in good spirits.

Hopefully, it's just a 24 hour thing because we're having a birthday party for his baby brother Luke - who'll be 1 on Saturday and for Joshua - who'll be 4 on Dec. 17th but, I'm due around that time so we decided to have their parties at the same time this year. Joshua is still psyched, though. The party is Curious George themed and I designed the invitations myself this year...

Hope you like!!!

Funfilled Sunday

Well, today was a great day. We started it by attending our 9 am service, which was very enlightening with a strong message. Afterwards, we drove home and ate, then proceeded to get changed for our son's Winterball game. The weather here has been all over the place from high temps and rain to cooler with strong winds. Well, today just so happened to be a little cooler with strong winds...LUCKY ME! Because as my sister and I were sharing a plate of nachos a strong gust came and blew the nachos all over me and into my sister's purse. It was hillarious! Just one of those moments that you just have to sit and laugh at. Really no point in being mad because it's not like it was planned...just something that happened.

Anyhow, the boys played a wonderful game and had a good time. So, all in all, it was a great day!!!

Have a great evening...;)

Role Model

This movie is hillarious! My hubby and I went to see it last night for our 9th anniversary and the laughter was just what we needed. Our anniversary was actually on November 6th but we thought a movie on a Friday night would be better. We were right. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Being 8 months pregnant now, I seriously thought I was going to wet my pants! It's definitely a must-see!

Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend...ENJOY!

My Cup Runneth Over...

Well, a lot has happened since my last post. Some good. Some bad. It's been a tough year for my family and I'm really trying to have faith and not let the bad knock me down. Seems likes it's been one thing after another and I've been stressed pretty much throughout my pregnancy. I don't think I've cried as much as I have these past 9 months...I know things will get better in time but I wish that time was already here and I could just kick up my feet, take a deep breath and just be able to relax. I've been wound so tight that I haven't been able to sleep well. Luckily, my pregnancy itself has been easy - go figure, the fourth time around!

Anyhow, my youngest son, Luke missed out on his First Halloween due to a cold so my husband took our 2 oldest sons to some houses on our street and then off to Hallelujah Night at our church. They had a wonderful time! Here's a picture of my second youngest son, Joshua with his Daddy...Have a great night!!!

The Move Is Almost Complete...

Well, it's been a while since my last post and that's been due to our family moving into a new home in Fullerton. We still have lots of unpacking to do and decide what's going to stay and what's going to go into storage, but it's a relief that it's almost over! I'm currently 27 wks preggers today and I've discovered that I'm nesting a little early. I can't wait until we have everything organized and in it's place! I'm so ready to throw out toys, etc... to eliminate clutter. I am determined to be clutter-free in this new home. A place for everything and everything in it's place. That is my goal.
Anyhow, as soon as I find the box with my camera, I'll post pics of the new place. Have a great weekend all!!!

The Whirlwind Is Over...

Well, it's been what, like 11 days since I last posted and that is with good reason. The day after I got my ultrasound, my doctor called me to inform me that he was referring me to a specialist because they saw what looked like an "Echogenic Bowel". Naturally, my hubby and I were a bundle of nerves seeing as the soonest appointment they had for me was 1 week later. Basically, we had to sit on pins and needles and pray that everything was going to be okay with our baby girl. Luckily, our love and faith held true because we were told that our baby girl would be fine and for me, to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy... As you can probably imagine, I was much abliged to so! Well, I hope all is well with everyone and God Bless!!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend ;)

The Verdict

So, I went to my Radiology Appointment yesterday for my ultrasound and it was an adventure, let me tell you. After the tech completed all of her necessary work (measurements, etc...), she asked me if I wanted to know the baby's gender. I told her "Of Course" and she proceeded to check. Unfortunately, the baby was not being cooperative. The tech then asked me to turn onto my side and still no luck. It was in breech position with it's legs crossed. Only one of my children, right?! Anyway, she asked me if I had to use the restroom because sometimes that will cause the baby to move around. So after using the restroom, I got back into position on the table and voila! The baby kicked, legs opened and to my surprise, it's a BABY GIRL!!! I was certain that I was going to have a fourth boy, so this definitely threw me. I'm still in shock.

Anyhow, here's a picture of my baby from yesterday (if you look closely, you can see in the first one that she has her mouth open)... Enjoy!

Mommy's Day Out

Alright. So earlier today, I decided to go out - by myself - and get a pedicure & manicure, go to Old Navy, Target and get Larry a new cell phone. It's been a loooooong time since I've had an afternoon to myself, so I thought this is nice. Well, the pedicure and manicure were great and the shopping went well. So, I decided to stop at home to drop off the goods I'd purchased and grab Larry's old phone - that I forgot in the morning - and go to the Sprint Store.

At the Sprint Store I wheeled and dealed on the new plan that we had to switch over to, etc... and after all the effort, I come to find that they only take cash, no checks, because their credit card machine is broken and not going to be fixed for another month. And, my nail polish got destroyed from having to dig around in my wallet for 2 forms of ID. You can only imagine my fury... I'm 5 months pregnant and it's hotter than you know what in the store! So, I left and went home.

After arriving home, my pedicure that was great turned out to be not-so-great! My big toe on my right foot was throbbing and the pain began to shoot up my foot and leg. I came to the conclusion that the lady that did my pedicure did not trim my nails properly, therefore causing my ever-so-famous ingrown toenails. Now, I have to make another appointment at Kaiser to have it remedied!

I already have to go to the hospital tomorrow for my ultrasound. Hopefully, my baby will be cooperative and we'll be able to find out if it's a BOY or a GIRL. So, I'll keep you posted on that.
Anyhow, that was my Saturday in a nutshell... How was yours? I'd love to read about it, so feel free to post in my comments section by clicking on COMMENTS below this post.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! ;)

My New Computer

I purchased a brand new computer that is supposed to be faster than fast and unfortuntely, I cannot get an internet connection. Now, I have to call Dell Support and stay on the phone with them for who knows how long until the problem is resolved. Provided that they can even assist me over the phone. They may have to schedule an appointment to come to my home to fix the problem.
In any case, I've been procrastinating way too long and need to make the call. That way I can get back to my love of digi scrappin'. I also want to start creating my own designs - ScrapCrazyDiva Design - coming soon!
Have a great week... ;)

Saved! At Last!

Well, my morning started off pretty bad... I got extremely upset and decided that I wasn't going to go to church afterall. But after I had my fit, I decided that it would be best if I went because I would feel better. So, I went and I was overcome with emotion and this overwhelming feeling of being saved. That said, when the pastor had asked if anyone wanted to give their live to Jesus Christ to raise their hand, I felt compelled to do so. So, I did and now, I feel great! Like I made the best decision for myself and for my children. In a few weeks, I'm also getting my children presented. So, we are all on the right path.
Have a wonderful evening... TTFN!!!

Update on Ultrasound...

As it turns out, I didn't get my ultrasound because my friend's son broke his arm. Poor baby! She had to take him to the Orthopedist yesterday and I'm still waiting for the update on him.
In other news, I had a prenatal visit a couple of days ago and to my surprise, I've only gained 4 lbs. total so far. I'm 17 weeks along as of today and according to my weekly pregnancy updates, I should've gained about 10 lbs. by now. But no worries... If it were an issue, my doctor would've said something. I personally, think it has to do with the fact that I've gone to Knott's Berry Farm twice and Disneyland once this month, and did a ton of walking in the summer heat!
What do you think?
Have a wonderful weekend!!! I know I will... I'm finally going to get some scrapbooking done this weekend! I'll post pics as soon as the projects are complete.

My First 4-D Ultrasound is Today!!!

I'm so excited that I can hardly contain myself! I have my first 4-D ultrasound today at 3pm/PST at my friend Krista's House. She used to be an ultrasound tech and now she's in sales of ultrasound equipment for Siemens Medical Solutions. I cannot wait to find out my baby's gender! This is my 4th child and with 3 boys already, I need to know whether or not I need to register for girly items... I have all boy stuff!!! Anyhow, I'll keep you posted as to the outcome...
TTFN!

My Layout for a TLC Digi Swap

My ex-TLC Upline Krystal Grant thought it would be fun to have a Digi Layout Swap, so I participated. Her rules were as follows...The only requirements are that it must contain at least one photo of you and your name. You may include your contact info. I would suggest you include something good, like your favorite memory of TLC, or the best thing that has happened to you because of TLC. Alternatively, it can be an inspirational quote. Create your layout 12"x12" at 300dpi and save as a JPEG if using photoshop. If you are using lifetimez, create your layout as a square, and export as a high resolution JPEG file. That said, here's my layout! ENJOY ;)

In the Middle of a Transition...

On Friday afternoon TLC announced to it's consultants that it has dissolved all consultantships, and wishes to be a "discount buying club". You can probably imagine all of our dismay as this announcement came with no warning. Luckilly, I wasn't that affected but still upset as I was planning on building my team and turning this into a career. I feel aweful for my uplines however, as they were deeply affected by this sudden change. The company still owes them lots of $$$ in commissions and if it weren't for them and all of their hard work and recruiting, TLC probably wouldn't have made it this far. It's so disappointing!

That being said, I've decided to join I Remember When for my paper crafting and Heritage Makers for my digital. In the next week, I will begin to revamp my website with info on the new companies, etc...

TTFN! ;)

My Baby's Growing Up SO FAST!

Here's a recent pic of my baby, Luke and one of my oldest son, Nicholas. I can't believe how quickly Luke is growing! He is such a joy to have and boy does he have a wonderful disposition! I mean, talk about a happy baby. He wakes up giddy and smiling every morning. Everytime he looks at me, he smiles or looks at me with such loving eyes. It's the best feeling in the world knowing that my children love me unconditionally... Just because I'm there Mommy, I can do no wrong in their adoring eyes!

Have a great weekend and Spring Break,

J

Still Alive and Kicking

It's been over a week since I last posted - 10 days to be exact. Anywho, I've been super busy with the boys, baseball, school and just being a Mom, period. Can you believe that I haven't taken any pictures as of late?! What's up with that? Normally, I carry my camera with me wherever I go but I've been seriously lagging. Enough of that, though. Nicholas has a game this afternoon so I'll be there with Joshua in the stroller, Luke in the pouch, Diaper Bag attached to stroller and camera in hand, ready to go!!! Be on the lookout the next couple of days for recent pics of my boys... Until then, have a good one!

My Birthday!

Well, today is March 5th and it's my 31st birthday. Yea! I'm officially in my thirties and loving it. I feel as young as I did when I turned 30! Hee, hee, hee. All joking aside, my hubby and baby boys gave me the best gift ever - 2 tickets to Bon Jovi's Lost Highway Concert at the Honda Center on Friday, April 4th. It was actually a together gift for my sis and I... Her birthday is May 5th but he got us GREAT seats - if you catch my drift. Anyhow, we can't wait and I'm doing the happy dance!

Have a great day! I know that I will...

First Baseball Game

Nicholas had his first baseball game yesterday and of course, he got hit by a pitch to his upper thigh and never wants to play again. According to him, but that was short-lived! He stayed the night at his friend Joshua Acosta's last night and I need to call and check on him and schedule a pickup time. Anyhow, I just thought it was kinda funny and wanted to share about his first game experience. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!!!
