Just Another November Day in Sunny California...NOT!

Larry & I
at
LA BUFADORA
HABANA BANANA
(I wish I was back there... The cruise we took to Ensenada, Mexico for our 7th Anniversary)

What season is it right now? Fall, you say. Well, you certainly wouldn't know it. It still feels like were in Summer. And how strange the weather is for creeping towards the end of November, huh?! Talk about being miserable everytime I have to set foot out of my climate-controlled house. I'm going on my 34th week of being pregnant this Friday, so this heat is getting old quick! I can't wait for the cool to set in for the holidays... Granted, I don't want it too cold because then I run the risk of my baby girl catching a cold. Afterall, she does have an 8 year old brother in school that could bring it home to her.
In other news, we had to have a plumber come out to fix the kitchen sink... It was clogged on both sides and our water wouldn't drain. But now, it's as good as new - Yea!
My house is very quiet at the moment, too! My two baby boys are currently napping and all I can hear is Spongebob in the background. NICE. I look forward to nap time... A little peace and quiet and time to think. I can check emails, blog, etc.
Anyway, I think that I may even join them for a little catnap of my own because my oldest son has early day today. I need to pick him up at 1:15pm, so a little nap will be good for me. Especially, before we start doing homework!
Hope you all have a wonderful morning, afternoon & night... Thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Birthday To My 2 Baby Boys!!!

Joshua saying, "CHEESE"!

Here are a few pictures taken at my boys birthday party. Luke just turned one and Joshua actually doesn't turn 4 until December 17th, but we decided to have their birthday parties at the same time because our daughter is due around that time. We did a Curious George theme and the kids had a blast. Although, we did have to keep the children indoors due to fires in the surrounding cities - we're talking only a matter of a few miles! There was a lot of ash floating around and the smell of smoke filled the air. Even still, it was a very good party and we all enjoyed everyone's company immensely.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week... ;)

So Many Things To Do, So Little Time...

At least, that's how I've felt as of late. I had my prenatal visit last night and to my surprise, I've only gained about 19 lbs in 33 weeks. Pretty good, huh?!

In other news, we still have so much organization left to do with my Craft Closet, the garage, & the babies' room. Not to mention, we had to get a larger storage unit - so now, my husband has to get a couple of buddies to help him transfer our stuff from the smaller into the larger. UGH! And to top that off, my husband has to take it easy with his right hand & arm because he's going through electrotherapy treatments once a week. I just feel so useless because normally I would be able to help him with the heavy lifting, etc... And I'm not in a position to do so at this time.

Tomorrow, we are celebrating our Baby Luke's 1st Birthday & his brother Joshua's 4th Birthday together (even though Joshua's Birthday isn't until Dec. 17th) because I have a feeling that this Baby Girl will follow suit to her older brothers and arrive a couple of weeks earlier than her due date - January 2. My sis and I are going to Party City tonight to get party favors and such for tomorrow and Sams Club for the cupcakes... Can't wait! It's supposed to be in the 90's tomorrow, too, did I forget to mention that? Is that insane weather for mid-November, or what?! Well, I certainly hope that you have a wonderful weekend & you're able to stay cool in your neck of the woods... ;)

An Early Tuesday Morning

My poor 3 1/2 year old woke up in the wee hours of the morning today very whiny and clingy and congested. I took his temperature and he was definitely in need of medication and some TLC (Tender Loving Care). Sorry folks, I know that's like a bad word around here in Blogger Land...;) Anyhow, after alternating the Tylenol & Motrin, along with the humidifier now in his bedroom, he seems to be back in good spirits.

Hopefully, it's just a 24 hour thing because we're having a birthday party for his baby brother Luke - who'll be 1 on Saturday and for Joshua - who'll be 4 on Dec. 17th but, I'm due around that time so we decided to have their parties at the same time this year. Joshua is still psyched, though. The party is Curious George themed and I designed the invitations myself this year...

Hope you like!!!

Funfilled Sunday

Well, today was a great day. We started it by attending our 9 am service, which was very enlightening with a strong message. Afterwards, we drove home and ate, then proceeded to get changed for our son's Winterball game. The weather here has been all over the place from high temps and rain to cooler with strong winds. Well, today just so happened to be a little cooler with strong winds...LUCKY ME! Because as my sister and I were sharing a plate of nachos a strong gust came and blew the nachos all over me and into my sister's purse. It was hillarious! Just one of those moments that you just have to sit and laugh at. Really no point in being mad because it's not like it was planned...just something that happened.

Anyhow, the boys played a wonderful game and had a good time. So, all in all, it was a great day!!!

Have a great evening...;)

Role Model

This movie is hillarious! My hubby and I went to see it last night for our 9th anniversary and the laughter was just what we needed. Our anniversary was actually on November 6th but we thought a movie on a Friday night would be better. We were right. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Being 8 months pregnant now, I seriously thought I was going to wet my pants! It's definitely a must-see!

Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend...ENJOY!

My Cup Runneth Over...

Well, a lot has happened since my last post. Some good. Some bad. It's been a tough year for my family and I'm really trying to have faith and not let the bad knock me down. Seems likes it's been one thing after another and I've been stressed pretty much throughout my pregnancy. I don't think I've cried as much as I have these past 9 months...I know things will get better in time but I wish that time was already here and I could just kick up my feet, take a deep breath and just be able to relax. I've been wound so tight that I haven't been able to sleep well. Luckily, my pregnancy itself has been easy - go figure, the fourth time around!

Anyhow, my youngest son, Luke missed out on his First Halloween due to a cold so my husband took our 2 oldest sons to some houses on our street and then off to Hallelujah Night at our church. They had a wonderful time! Here's a picture of my second youngest son, Joshua with his Daddy...Have a great night!!!
