Update

I realize that I haven't posted in a while but as you all know, I just gave birth to my fourth child almost 1 month ago. Well, she had been in and out of the hospital since due to jaundice. She'd been readmitted into the hospital for 24 hours and her bilirubin level had dropped from 20.3 to 12 so we were discharged. A couple days later we took her to the lab to check her level and it had gone up. After a couple of weeks of going to the lab and getting tests run on her, etc...Her pediatrician finally decided to have me stop breastfeeding for 48 hours, pump in the meantime and put her on formula to see if her level goes down. It turns out that my breastmilk was the culprit. It's called "Breastmilk Jaundice". During the first 24 hours, our pastor's wife had called to check on us and prayed for the baby to be healed from her jaundice and to rid my breastmilk of it and we were. I pumped right after we got off the telephone and I kid you not, my milk was white. I had pumped in the hospital when she was first admitted for the jaundice, had to pump while there and my milk was yellow. It was a miracle!

I'm happy to report that she is well on her way to a full recovery. My daughter goes to her pediatrician for a follow up appt next week and doesn't have to have her feet poked anymore. She's been a trooper throughout this entire ordeal. Our little girl is gaining weight and her appetite is in full force.

We are truly blessed and I believe in the power of prayer because ours was answered...
